Electronic Options for Filing Business Returns and Paying Taxes

Electronic Federal Tax Deposit System (EFTPS)

Who can use EFTPS?

Under current regulations, you are required to make all of your Federal Tax Deposits electronically beginning January 1, 2002, if you made tax payments of more than $200,000 in federal taxes in 2000. This applies to any tax deposit obligations incurred on after January 1, 2002.

If you did not meet these conditions, you may make your electronic payments voluntarily.
