Filing Your Return(s) and Paying Taxes

Where to File

If an addressed envelope came with your tax forms package, you should mail your return in that envelope. If you do not have an addressed envelope or if you moved during the year, mail your return to the Internal Revenue Service Center for the area where you now live. A list of Service Center addresses is shown in your tax forms package.

See the separate Instructions for form W-2 for details about filing form W-2 and for information about required magnetic media filing. If you have questions related to reporting on information returns, call 304-263-8700.

Important! Due to the restructuring of the IRS along customer lines, some addresses for mailing returns have changed. Please see instructions for each form under Where to File.
