Is your business a tax service? Then you may be interested in becoming an Electronic Return Originator (ERO).

The Electronic Return Originator or ERO is the person or firm that the taxpayer entrusts with tax information for the purpose of filing income tax returns electronically in the IRS e-file program. This includes both federal and, where applicable, state returns.
