Electronic Federal Tax Deposit System (EFTPS)

How does it work?

EFTPS is tax payment system offered free from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, designed with busy taxpayers in mind. Using the Internet, Personal Computer (PC) software, a service offered by a financial institution or phone, you input your tax payment information. If you prefer to use your PC, you can receive free EFTPS Windows-based software that is easy to install and use.
